xLAB is a multidisciplinary research lab at Penn with a partnership from Comcast. Currently employing a user-center design approach to an interactive haptic vest for use with video content. Also assisting on the development of a over-head lighting system to spatially expand the in-screen viewing experience.

Teaching assistant for Professor Karl Ulrich for coursework in innovation, technology strategy, web-based products and services, and product design for undergraduate, MBA and Executive MBA students. Organized course innovation tournament, evaluated course assignments, and mentored students through the innovation and product development process.

Managed a resident hall of diverse first-year students and counseled them on basic intra-personal and academic issues. Organized several community building activities and oversaw the school store.

Managed several design and marketing projects, as well as undergraduate designers, for the cultural center.

Reduced defects and rework hours through weekly team reviews. Built automated daily status reports for Naval Weapons Systems programs. Learned and applied lean manufacturing principles and participated in several kaizen events. Performed AS9102-compliant first articles reviews prior to sale to the government and presented results to the government.

Team was responsible for data management for the Quality organization. Led several projects where I worked with internal clients to create meaningful interfaces and worked with their respective IT departments to reconcile data backend systems. Learned MS and Oracle SQL query structure and optimization, and data presentation and analytics through MS Sharepoint, IBM Cognos, and Lotus Domino.

Tracked supplier quality ratings and organized quality improvement projects. Developed incoming inspection status report templates and aided in a real-time incoming inspection dashboard.

Contributed to DOE site assessments for decommissioning or deactivation. Analyzed energy efficiency, water conservation, and renewable energy of existing sites and provided recommendations based off of existing technologies.
